Shipping policy
Studio Lexi (Lexi Australia Pty Ltd)
Studio Lexi ships worldwide from two locations: our Australian Head Office and our United States warehouse. This policy explains dispatch times, delivery times and costs by destination, how duties and taxes are handled, and how order tracking works.
In short: we dispatch orders the same or next business day. Australian orders ship free (or express for $14.90 AUD). US orders ship free or from $6–10 USD depending on order value. Everywhere else ships via DHL Express, with cost and delivery time varying by country. Full details below.
1. Dispatch times
We ship orders the same business day or the next business day, depending on when you order and stock availability.
2. Australia (domestic orders)

There's no minimum order value for free standard shipping domestically — it's free on every AU order.
3. United States
Studio Lexi holds stock in both Australia and the US. Depending on which location has your item in stock, your order will ship one of two ways. You'll see which applies to your order on the product page, so you know what to expect before you buy.
3.1 Shipped directly from our US warehouse (item in US stock)
Orders of $250 USD or more qualify for free standard shipping. Below that, standard shipping is $6 USD.

3.2 Shipped from Australia via our US partner facility (item only in AU stock)
If your item is only available in our Australian stock, it's sent to our US partner facility first and then on to you from there. This adds some transit time compared to an order that's already sitting in the US. The same $250 USD free-shipping threshold applies as above.

A note on tracking for this path: because your order travels via our US facility before the final leg to you, you won't receive a tracking number until the parcel leaves that facility and enters the local US delivery network. This isn't a fault or a lost parcel — it simply means the first part of the journey (Australia to our US facility) isn't tracked at the parcel level. You'll get your tracking email as soon as it's on the final leg to your address.
4. All other countries
For destinations outside Australia and the United States, Studio Lexi ships internationally with DHL Express via our checkout partner Global-e, in your local currency.

All orders to destinations outside Australia and the United States ship with DHL Express, regardless of order value. The free-shipping threshold shown for your country only affects whether that DHL Express shipping is free or paid — it doesn't change the carrier or delivery speed. Once your order is over the threshold, DHL Express shipping is free; under it, the cost shown applies.
5. Duties and taxes
Duties and taxes are calculated based on the items ordered, your delivery address, and the order value. How this is handled depends on your country:
- Included in the price you see (most markets): for the majority of destinations — including the UK, most of the EU, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Switzerland, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and others — duties and taxes are already built into the price shown on our site. There's nothing extra to pay at checkout or on delivery.
- Duty included, local sales tax added at checkout (United States, Canada): the displayed price includes duty — there's no separate duty charge. Applicable local sales tax is calculated and added as a separate line at checkout.
- Calculated and payable at checkout, required (Brazil): duties and taxes are calculated at checkout and must be prepaid as part of your order — there's no pay-on-delivery option for Brazilian orders.
- Calculated at checkout, your choice (most remaining markets): duties and taxes are calculated based on your order and shown at checkout, where you can usually choose to prepay them or pay them on delivery instead. If you choose to pay on delivery, this will be collected by the courier or your local customs authority.
Whichever applies to your order, the amount (if any) is always shown clearly before you complete your purchase — there are no surprise charges.
6. Order tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link. You can also view tracking information at any time through our order tracking page.
- Australian domestic orders are tracked via AusPost.
- US domestic orders are tracked via USPS or UPS.
- All other international orders are tracked via DHL Express.
- Orders shipped from Australia via our US facility (Section 3.2) won't have a tracking number until the parcel leaves that facility — see the note in that section for why this isn't cause for concern.
If your tracking hasn't updated within a reasonable time for your delivery method, please contact Customer Care and we'll look into it for you.
